About Me
Hello!
My name is Mrs. Lamers and I am a Kindergarten Teacher at Roose Elementary. I absolutely love teaching Kindergarten and helping my students learn and grow!
I graduated from Oakland University with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I have endorsements in Language Arts and Early Childhood Education. I am also working toward my Master's Degree in Literacy Studies at Grand Valley State University.
I am married to my husband, Ben, and we have a rescue dog named Shiloh. I enjoy hiking, camping, playing tennis, and spending time with friends and family.
As a teacher, my hope is to help my students become excited about learning! My classroom will remain a safe and positive learning environment in which every student feels valued, welcomed, and accepted. Our school year will be filled with lots of learning and fun!
I also believe that families play a key role in a child's education. My desire as a teacher is to build strong school-home connections and work together as a team with my students' families to ensure academic success.
